YEP writer Phil Hay provides his Leeds United player ratings on the back of the 2-0 win against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough. Do you agree with his choices?

Rob Green

One huge save from Hooper which came just at the right time, on an otherwise tidy day. 7/10

Luke Ayling

Starting to look like a quality signing. Gave Forestieri nothing when the Italian was shunted out to the left wing. 8/10

Liam Cooper

No denying the errors early on but tightened up quickly and slogged to the very end. 7/10

Kyle Bartley

The Bartley-Cooper combination at centre-back looks promising. Bartley was the better of the two. 8/10

Charlie Taylor

Opened Wednesday up in the build-up the first goal and was much more like his old self. 7/10

Hadi Sacko

An absolute livewire. Murdered Daniel Pudil and was the driving force in the second period. 9/10

Liam Bridcutt

Bridcutt returns and the midfield looks tighter. No great mystery there. Great to have him back. 8/10

Ronaldo Vieira

The best he’s played and it can’t be a coincidence that having Bridcutt next to him gave him more freedom. 8/10

Alex Mowatt

Not quite as influential as other players but kept his shape and his discipline well. That frustrated Wednesday. 7/10

Marcus Antonsson

Clever movement again but a slightly quiet afternoon until he came up with a deadly header. 7/10

Chris Wood

Needed to follow up Tuesday’s goal and celebration with another statement. Took his chance beautifully. 8/10

Substitutes:

Souleymane Doukara (for Antonsson, 69) - An unexpected choice of substitute from Monk but didn’t put a foot wrong. 6/10

Kemar Roofe (for Mowatt, 77) - His cross set up Wood’s goal and a peach it was too. Wednesday’s defence were nowhere. 7/10

Kalvin Phillips (for Sacko, 88) - Leeds were home and hosed by the time he came on. Phillips made sure it stayed that way. 5/10
