Spokesman, Matthew Rubery, said: "This briongs our regatta win tally to 10 for the year, an impressive total for a young club.

"We opened in the summer of 2006 and have grown to over 60 members. Many had never rowed before joining the club.

"Our top priority is to buy new equipment. Currently, we have to borrow boats from others clubs in order to compete at regattas because of a lack of a boat trailer."
