Possession was very one sided and with the wind supporting us we were soon 2-0 up on 15 minutes this time a long range shot was spilled by the Dudley Hill keeper and Lawrence was first to react.
Three minutes later we were three up, this time an in swinging corner was finished superbly by Stephen, flicking the ball into the net with the outside of his foot. It was soon 4-0 after an excellent passing move involving Declan and Lawrence resulting in Markel being put through one and one and finishing excellently. Markel had his second after Aiden put him through again and he once more finished superbly.
Aiden grabbed a sixth five minutes before half time after a goal kick came straight to him and he passed the ball into the corner of the goal sending us in 6-0 up at half time.
The second half was never going to be easy against the strong winds however we scored within three minutes of the restart through Markel, after he was put through and took the ball round the keeper and walked the ball into the goal. This, amazingly, was Markel's eighth hat-trick of the season and his 43rd goal.
On 36 minutes we were awarded a penalty after a hand-ball in the box and due to the comfortable scoreline we provided Billy (who spends a great deal of time bemoaning the fact he'll never score) with the chance to score his first ever goal for North East Leeds and he took it superbly, placing the ball in the top corner to make the score 8-0 and seal the game.
The game went a bit quiet from then on and both teams had a few half chances but the score remained 8-0 giving us a good win in blustery conditions.
We were pleased to see the team work hard and keep a clean sheet and everyone did their job well today. Man of the Match was awarded to Billy who was solid at the back and did some great cover work and topped it off with his goal!
Well done again lads on another excellent win.
