Markel Henry continued his current run of scoring within three minutes of kick off with a typically good finish in the box and only 30 second later he had his second goal with an excellent long range chip. Against Kirkstall Crusaders Markel managed to score a hat-trick in seven minutes and today he matched that achievement scoring his third with a clinical finish. North East Leeds continued to press for goals and Aiden Yaffe, constantly increasing in confidence, scored an excellent low finish making the score 4-0.

North East Leeds were 5-0 up on 18 minutes with some excellent passing resulting in Markel Henry being put through and finishing powerfully from long range.

Lawrence Roberts made it 6-0 on 22 minutes after a good run down the right hand side and finished calmly. The first half scoring continued as less than one minute later Declan Denison got himself on the score sheet with a nice long range effort.

North East Leeds went in at half time 7-0 up and were encouraged to maintain the high level of performance and more importantly keep a clean sheet.

Two minutes into the second half it was 8-0 Markel Henry scoring his fifth with a strong header. Two minutes later he secured his double hat-trick with a calm finish in a crowded box. Josh Baggott scored North East Leeds' tenth on 40 minutes after a long run down the right hand side and a clinical finish. On 48 minutes it was 11-0 after Taf Mumbanya scored a superb individual goal which was followed two minutes later after Markel Henry continued to cause havoc amongst the Garforth Rangers defence scoring his seventh goal. North East Leeds' final goal was scored two minutes from time by Taf Mumbanya finishing from close range after some confusion in the box.

When the two games in two days were arranged we had slight concern over possible tiredness creeping in however, the results speak for themselves and are a credit to the players who worked equally as hard in both games. We must give credit to Garforth Rangers who never gave up and worked hard throughout the game and showed excellent sportsmanship.

Man-of-the-match could have gone to numerous players however, Markel Henry's unbelievable seven goals accompanied with his hard work and his assists secured him the award for the second time in two days.

Well done to all the players your hard work and dedication has paid off.

The squad: Trust Ncube, Dom Roberto, Billy Clarke, Stephen Carr, Michael Chukwu, Lawrence Roberts, Declan Denison, Josh Baggott (c), Taf Mumbanya, Aiden Yaffe, Markel Henry, Oliver Batley.
