Circus acts, mini motor bikes and birds of prey displays were just a few of the treats on offer at Roundhay Park in a jam-packed family weekend event.
Scores of visitors headed to Roundhay Park over the weekend for the fun-filled Parks and Countryside Open Day.

From making scare crows to circus performances, there was something for everyone in this two-day event.

Councillor John Procter, Leeds City Council executive board member for leisure, said: "The annual Parks and Countryside Open Days are always among the highlight events of the year.

"We are lucky in Leeds to have a fantastic range of parks and green spaces, and a huge amount of hard work goes in to maintaining them and helping them look their best. The Parks Open Days are great fun for the whole family."

Other activities at the event included zip wire and assault courses, fun-fair, bouncy castle as well as stands from the RSPB, Allotment society and dry stone walling.
