A West Yorkshire Police employee accused of sexual assault is set to appear in court.

Matthew Oxby, 48, who works in the force’s Regional Scientific Support Services department, was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Wakefield city centre in December while he was off duty.

He is currently suspended and is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court on Thursday (May 18).
