Police appeal for information following bike burglary from Roundhay garage

The burglary is reported to have happened between 5pm on May 31 and 8am on June 1 in the Gledhow area of Roundhay.

A garage was broken into and two bikes were stolen.

Police want to speak to the driver of a light blue VW Caddy that was seen in the area at around 4am on June 1 in connection with the incident.

Anyone with CCTV footage or that witnessed any suspicious activity between these times is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 13210271041.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Leeds.

"The burglary is reported to have happened between 5pm (31/5) and 8am on Tuesday 1 June in the Gledhow area of Roundhay when a garage was broken into and two bikes were stolen.

"Officers are keen to speak with the driver of a light blue VW Caddy vehicle in connection with the incident that was sighted in the area at around 4am on Tuesday 1 June as they may have information that will assist with enquiries.

"Anyone with CCTV footage or that may have witnessed any suspicious activity between the times stated above is asked to contact the police on 101 quoting reference 13210271041.

"Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
