Three family members from Oakwood have been jailed for turning a blind eye to the violent death of a young woman in their own home.
Sabia Rani, 19, was killed after weeks of horrific sustained abuse by her 25-year-old husband Shazad Khan.

Khan's mother Phullan Bibi, 52, and his two sisters Uzma Khan, 23, and
Nazia Naureen, 28, were jailed for allowing the death of a vulnerable adult.

Sentencing at Leeds Crown Court, Judge James Stewart QC gave Bibi a three-year sentence and jailed each of her two daughters for two years.
Naureen's husband Majid Hussain, 28, who had also been found guilty after a four-week trial, walked free from court after being handed a 12-month sentence suspended for two years.

Shazad Khan was convicted of his wife's murder last year after she was discovered in a bath full of cold water at the family's house in Oakwood Grange.

Ms Rani, who spoke no English, had bruising to 90% of her body and up to 15 broken ribs.
