The Friends of Roundhay Park claim they are being snubbed by officers of Leeds Parks department.

Roundhay Today: "We are continuing to do good work in the park and make suggestions. But it is disappointing that we get little response from the park management.

Friends secretary David Binns said: "We have a good relationship on the planting side but there is a wall of silence in other ways.
"We get no feedback from the officers and no reply to our emails."
The Friends may invite leisure supremo Coun John Proctor to liaise between the parties.
