Motorbike caught speeding at more than 100mph on this 50mph Leeds road

A motorbike rider faces court after allegedly speeding at more than 100mph on a street in east Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit had set up cameras on Selby Road, Garforth, at 8.30pm on Tuesday.

Officers said they clocked the 'powerful' motorcycle speeding at 112mph - in the 50mph limit.

PC 'Robbo' Robson said: "Here’s another speeder we got, and yes another one to make an appearance at court.
